Wire sawing is a quick, efficient, and economical concrete cutting solution. Wire sawing is the ideal concrete cutting solution for structures that are too large or unwieldy for traditional saw cutting. When it is impractical or impossible to saw through heavily reinforced concrete, hard metals, steel, or even rock—Eastern Cutting relies on this relatively new method to save both time and money. Wire saw systems rely on a series of guided pulleys to draw a continuous loop of diamond impregnated wire through otherwise impenetrable material. This technology creates any desired shape or directional cut with ease. Wire saw systems are flexible—suitable for use in confined spaces and limited access areas—while retaining the ability to cut vertically, horizontally, or on an angle. Wire saws can even be used underwater! No concrete structure is too large to cut with a wire saw. Faster cutting times and low noise output make wire sawing the perfect solution when conventional cutting methods fall short.

Reinforeced Concrete Diamond Wire:

Applications:The cut of concrete with diamond wire is the most versatile of all, because the diamond wire allows the execution of cuts of any size and geometry, being able to replace the cut with diamond disc in almost all the cases.

Basically the diamond wire cutting machines are divided into two parts: a hydraulic power unit similar to that used in cutting with a disc and a system of traction sheaves and deflection of the diamond wire that is connected to the hydraulic unit through hydraulic hoses.
The basic operation of the machine is quite simple: the concrete to be cut is laced with the diamond wire that returns to the machine and also loosens the traction sheave. Through the control unit in the hydraulic unit the traction sheave rotates and with it the diamond wire, which moves at a speed of 20 to 30 m / s on the surface of the concrete and in doing so starts to cut it. Another hydraulic drive command causes the traction sheave to retract to keep the diamond wire always taut.

This method is recommended for the cutting and demolition of large reinforced concrete structures, machine bases, cut concrete pillars, demolition of chimneys, towers and foundations. It can also be used in underwater environments.
